Valentin  PREDA, President

valentin-preda-founder-rbex Valentin is the Founder of the National Association of Romanian Business Brokers (ANBAR). In his 15-year professional experience, Valentin has advised Romanian and international companies in Business Development, Turnaround Management and M&A, from a wide range of industries—including banking, real estate, high tech, and industrial—but his core area of expertise is international trade & business development.  He has served in a variety of leadership roles, including most recently as General Manager of Upground Estates/RREEF – a member of Deutche Bank Group. During his involvement in real estate business, he has managed the development of real estate assets worth more than 500 Million Euros, all of them being successfully sold to different institutional investors. In the field of advisory, risk management and turnaround management Valentin has advised many business owners and institutional investors to develop risk measurement systems and improve their company’s performances. Valentin is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors – the world’s leading professional qualification in land, property, construction and the associated environmental issues.As a member of many other professional associations Valentin has created a business network of professionals with international business experience. Valentin is also the founder and main shareholder of the Romanian Business Exchange and co-founder of the Social Economy Development Foundation in Romania.

Sorin PREDA, Vice-President

profil ANBAR Sorin Preda has founded Global Vision in 2004, initially as a network infrastructure provider for real estate developments. Within a year, the company was operating large scale developments such as City Mall, PGV Tower, City Mall Parking. Subsequently, the company developed an outstanding department of civil engineering and project management, expanding quickly into the building construction field and becoming one of the fastest growing companies in the country. Prior to establishing Global Vision, Sorin Preda had a 13-year+ career in management, most of which have been spent in the IT&C industry. His Romanian and international experience with Motorola and Vodafone has enabled him to thoroughly understand key issues at both corporate strategic level and sales & marketing management level. A 1998 graduate  the Electronic & Telecommunications faculty, he also holds a Professional Certificate in Management from the Open University UK as well as Professional Diploma in Management from the same institution.  Highly trained in Strategy (Management Center Europe), Managing People (Management Center Europe), Sales Management (Power Marketing Canada), Sales Negotiations (Motorola Sales Academy, Berlin), Project Management (FGT Education & Technology Inc., Canada), with a solid experience in Business Process Re-engineering (2001 – 2005), Sorin Preda also holds the professional expertise to successfully implement them at corporate level. Founding member of Romanian Cricket Federation, lecturer within Brand Academy’s Corporate University, frequent speaker at various business conferences, Sorin Preda takes special interest in business literature and history, as he believes the two are highly interconnected and provide a solid basis for a comprehensive business and human understanding

Nicolae CUTA, Vice-President

profil ANBAR Currently occupies  the position of Executive Director of the Foundation for the Development of Social Economy. With over 10 years experience as a trainer, has been involved over time in training, counseling and training for staff in over 11 local community electronic networks for local economic development, training and board members staff of the National Association for Children and adults with autism in Romania, trained and supported community organizations in planning and implementing recipient business and community projects, joint teams of trained local NGO representatives under PHARE 2005 – „Strengthening democracy Romania – Democracy, human rights, rule of law, independent judiciary and fight against corruption”, he instructed and assisted 14 community organizations to initiate and implement small projects and Community Affairs. Endowed with a unique team spirit with the ability to adapt to any working environment, with good communication skills, initiation, animation and moderation of groups managed to become a founding member of 7 NGOs for which the prestart over 3000 hours of volunteering. All these qualities recommend him like a professional with experience in designing and analyzing business plans and participatory strategic planning process management and organizational development.
